Her journey began at the age of four under the guidance of esteemed gurus from the Lucknow and Jaipur gharanas, shaping her into the accomplished artist she is today.
Prerna is not just a dancer; she is an educator, mentor, and advocate for women’s empowerment. She holds multiple postgraduate degrees and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Kathak. Her teaching career includes a decade at Manovikas High School in Goa, where she inspired countless students with her passion for dance. In 2014, she founded Prerna’s Samanvay Cultural Kathak Academy, a sanctuary for those eager to learn and grow in the art of Kathak.
Beyond the studio, Prerna is a committed philanthropist. She offers free classes to underprivileged children and actively participates in various charitable initiatives. Her work has earned her numerous awards, but her true reward lies in the joy and empowerment she brings to others. Prerna believes in the power of dance to transform lives, and through her academy and outreach, she continues to share her love for Kathak with the world.

Prerna’s Samanvay Cultural Kathak Academy was started in 2014 by Prerna Agrawal in Margao, Goa. The academy Boasts of many Indian and international Students through offline and on-line Sessions. Guru Prerna Agrawal has won many awards for her contribution to this Indian classical dance form. her awards including the Orchid award(2019),Go womania Outstanding Achievers Award (2021), Enlighten the power in women (2019),Best teacher award by Rotary Club, Margao(2018), Nrityagurvay Award(2023),Naryan Ganpati Award(2023), Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Award(2024),Best women Achievers Award (2024) and many more. Her disciples has won many more prices in national level and international kathak dance competitions
